Next Starcraft to be an MMO

As if the world needed another stellar MMO from the wizards at Blizzard (sarcasm). With the amazing popularity of World of Warcraft, it was only a matter of time before Blizzard decided to hurl another MMO into the market. CVG is revealing that the alleged Starcraft sequel, long thought to be an RTS, will actually be an MMO as well. Whether this is a smart move by Blizzard it’s too early to tell. WoW is insanely popular, and the effect of creating another Blizzard MMO is still up in the air. The one disappointing aspect about this announcement is the lack of a true Starcraft RTS sequel. We’ve all been waiting for a chance to command the armies of the Zerg, Terrans, and Protoss again for too long. Still why Blizzard is announcing this new MMO in South Korea still doesn’t make much sense (being that South Korea is the capital of Starcraft RTS gaming elites). Perhaps a Starcraft RTS in addition to the Starcraft MMO is what Blizzard actually has up its sleeves.
