NBA Live 06 Soundtrack

Electronic Arts today revealed the 16 songs that make up the in-game music soundtrack for the multi-platinum basketball game, NBA LIVE 06. The song list delivers an eclectic mix of up-tempo beats and lyrics.

It's amazing how some newer video game soundtracks are actually getting better than a lot of movie soundtracks.

Good point. I also tend to agree with that. However, I'm a big fan of original content, such as the stuff put out by Mr. Uematsu.

If you haven't heard "The Black Mages", you've not lived. Final Fantasy tracks uplifted with rock guitar and faster beats.

By gosh, you like Nobuo Uematsu work as well? I guess a lot of people do, his orchestrated rendition of the Final Fantasy IV prelude is simply astounding. I slacked off after Final Fantasy VII's soundtrack release. I don't know about anyone else, but I felt he seemed to put a little less emotional content into the variations of some songs.
