Unhappy I cracked a masterpiece (literally)

As responsible of a gamer as I am, I tend to make mistakes. By biggest one perhaps was putting DOA2 Ultimate in a disc sleeve and into my pocket when I was going to a
friend's house. Unfortunately, I was doing some pretty athletic things and forgot it that the game was in my pocket. Just before going home, I felt the game in my pocket. My heart pounded as I turned over the disc, only to see a huge crack on the back of it. I'm pretty depressed about it, but people make mistakes and learn from them, right?

I learned two things from all of this:

1) Never put a disc in your pocket, even if there is a disc sleeve to put it in.
2) Always place a game in a DVD case when going to somewhere from now on.

I feel pretty dumb right about now..

That sucks. I am pretty lazy with my game discs too. I have a big pile on the shelve above my Xbox and whenever I need a disc I just dig through it

Takes too long to open boxes and put them where they are supposed to be :p

lol, i only have like 15 games, so i keep them in their cases. Plus, i nice big stack of games is good for showin off at parties and stuff, and they decorate your entertainment unit quite nicely

I'm pretty militant about my games. I would never even dream of transporting one outside of it's protective case nor do I even set them down for longer than 10 minutes outside of their case.

Hell, I'm even crazy about the cases being in good condition.

Same here man, I just don't know what I was thinking. I'm never bringing a game to
a friend's house again until I can ensure protection of the disc.

Is DOA2: Ultimate hard to find or is it just the "principality"?

^ Heh, but he fails to mention that I (his wonderful and super-human brother) had to buy him a damn Media tower cause he had over a hundred video games (from all consoles) stacked precariously next to his tv... but by golly, all those games were IN the cases! Being quite militant myself, I couldn't handle seeing all those pretty cases crashing to the floor (or on top of his nephew), so I took it upon myself to remedy his inevitable dilemma. Now. If we could only find a nice tower/cabinet for his mass pile of consoles...

lol nice Gib. Now if those piles crashed to the floor (to the cries of gamers worldwide), it would have sure been a funny sight.
