Doom: The movie

yes there was lots of shooting.... but.... it followed a PLOT..... you cant have a movie w/o a plot unless your napolian dinomite.. and even that movies dumb... and ir eally doubt that Doom can pull that off w/o being completely stupid.... you'd get bored after the 400th demon you shot... there has to be a point in it.... *shrug*... more than just "hey... there are demons... and we gotta shoot them and kill them..... ok now were done, bye"....

What's the point of getting someone as high-priced as the Rock if they're just going to shoot in mostly first person? Oooh, look, there's the Rock's arms! Anyway, maybe the movie won't be too bad.... maybe.

Well the boys at ID seem to approve of what the studio is doing. If both Johns' are happy with their decade old creation coming to the big screen, and the game has still avoided a plot for that decade and is still popular, then the movie can't be too bad...As long as it's rated R.

I can't imagine paying $7 or $20 buckaroonies for some PG-13 style violence. The movie better live up to all those complaints angry mothers' made about the stupid looking gore featured in that decade old Doom. Arms and legs should not be inhibited from departing from the owner's body. Or else I'll be pissed.

I guess it depends where you're from.... There's no way in hell I'm paying more than 8 dollars to see ANY movie! Besides, I generally buy the DVD's anyway...
