Well, Starship Troopers wasn't based on a game and they just shot stuff. That's what the movie was mostly about...And Saving Private Ryan was very similar, it just wasn't a stupid movie...It was actually a good movie. Once Upon Time in Mexico and Desperado were also shooting movies...And as games, they probably wouldn't be any worse than they were as movies. Just look at Total Overdose: A gunslinger's tale in Mexico.
A shooter movie could be no worse than a shooter game, it all depends on why they decide to shoot one monster more than the next to open whatever color-key locked door they're trying to get out of before the entire base blows up for whatever reason. Like Aliens, or Predator 2. |
