Here's a good one. Tell noobs that if they hit start,A, then up, A, cool things will happen. This makes you quit if you didn't catch it. To set it up, It's best to have one of your friends not believe you, then they act like they tried it and start saying amazing stuff is happening to their screens.

i told one to get on a turret and shoot the halo ring in the sky and he would be invincible as long as he did it, he was sniped instanly. he asked me what he did wrong and i said "you didnt do it quick enough" then when he did it again i betrayed him with a plasma gernade. he got mad at me and asked "how do you throw gernades"

When one pwns a n00b, the n00b is gaining valuable experience that he/she will use to become less n00bish, and maybe even some day a little good... but once a n00b, always a n00b.

So, in essence, to be cruel to a n00b means you are not doing your job as a greater gaming presence. To truely pwn, one must not only utilize n00bs to gain expertise yourself, but you must also pass your gaming micro for others to indulge in.

You all seem to be forgetting the most important thing every newbie must do before they realize they've been nooberized:

Just tell them to cancel their live service, because (convincingly) Quake is better. Pretend to leave, watch the newb follow when the room clears. Re-enter and enjoy your game of Halo.

When they leave and go play Quake, and die to some unforseen rocket from some punk who hid himself in a decript shadow, under some travel-forsaken bridge for the 88th time, it will become apparent, that he just screwed himself.

Ha! But that normally only works if you reverse the games, and tell that to someone who is playing Quake.
