Default XBOX 360 controller

The xbox360 controller is way better than the PS3's. Even though the PS3 can utilize up to 7 controllers at a time and x360 can only do 4, the controller interface is better with the whole xbox live button and turning the 360 on and off. It also tells you which player you are on the controller using the ring but PS3 doesnt so how are u going to know which player u are on PS3 if all the controllers are wireless and there is no indication on the controller. Also the 360's controller can connect to the 360's USB ports when the batteries are low so that u can keep on playing and it charges your batteries at the same time. The only problem is that the 360 has only 3 USB ports and if four people are playing and everyone's controller's batteries get low, what is the fourth person going to do then. The PS3 however has 6 USB ports but luckily its controller cannot conect to the system and charge. I'm with the xbox360 and love the controller but i think this is going to be a big problem. What do u guys think?

Welcome to the forums Icedoubt

I dont really think only having three usbs for recharging is a problem. What are the chances that all four controllers need to be recharged at the same time? Also most people won't even have four controllers.

I do really think the Xbox 360 controller is way better than the PS3 controller in a number of ways. I also heard that game developers are able to control the ring of light on the console and maybe the one on the controller to indicate things like your health or how much ammunition you have. How cool is that?!

Anyway, I can't wait until this thing comes out. If it is November, that is only 4 months @_@

The thing I don't like about the PS3's controller is the shape of it. It looks like a friggin' boomerang. Unless it is particularly comfortable I just can't see any reason to change it from the older design. Maybe if a player gets mad and throws it, it'll come back. That would be sweet.

Yes most people will have four controllers. Especially for games like Madden,NBA Live, and of course Halo 3! Think how bad its going to be if Halo 3 is supposed to be the PS3 killer and u wont be able to play if u have all wired controllers or if u have 4 wireless and everyones batteries go dead!

The battery life isn't going to be that pitiful where it'll go dead on you so often. The Wavebird for Gamecube has an extremely long battery life (100 hours or something like that) and you get ample time and warning to change your batteries. When the batteries in it go low, the movement becomes sluggish and buttons begin to not work, but it's not that big of a deal.
