Halo 3 beta LATE!

I woke up this mornin expecting to play halo 3 and guess wat no dice there was an error so I couldnt play n e 1 else get this too?

I signed up at the website...but haven't got an email about it yet.

I have a quick questions though...Why exactly do they have to restrict access to it? Why not make it available to everyone as a normal download like everything else is?

Oh silly me, why didn't I see this earlier? Microsoft is exploiting gamers' love for Halo to pocket big bucks, of course. Since they are too cheap to pay for all the bandwidth, despite the fact that we are all paying at least $50/year, they need to restrict access to it. Then most will have to buy their $60 game (Crackdown) they probably don't even want. Then most people will probably buy Halo 3 with all the extras costing about $100. Then, once new maps start coming out we are all probably going to have to pay about $50 a map.

Seriously, MS is going too far in monetizing Xbox Live and Halo 3 already.
