Microsoft just announced a 100GB hard drive for the Xbox 360 at their little X06 shindig in Korea, and the drive should be making its way to shelves -- at least in Korea -- by March of '07. There's no info on price yet, or really much info at all, but when has a PowerPoint slide full of Korean characters and lame-fonted "100 GB" overlays ever steered you wrong?
Looks like it is true. Guess we will see it here soon too then. I don't see why not... With the amount of demos and videos they release you can fill up a 20gb quite quick.
Maybe Microsoft is finally figuring out this Asian market. They must have realized the only way they're going to sell 360's over in Korea is to make 'em "pirate ready" out of the box. Apparently, it looks like the first hard drive is on the house, too.
