Sleazy Circuit City ripping off Xbox 360 Customers??

Not sure where to start with this scam to fleece unsuspecting customers, but "**** you Circuit City" will do for now. This unscrupulous retailer is trying to convince customers, who sadly do not know better, that this is a service they need--much like extended warranties and aftercare. Backward compatibility isn't even something that Circuit City can really install! I guess they can, but it updates over Xbox Live. And if you don't have an internet connection, Microsoft will happily send you the backward compatibility software, which users can easily install themselves.

I guess its possible that Circuit city has the BC on disc's or something? The hole thing sounds fishy to me!

Interesting. I wonder what ol' Bill thinks about this...considering there is not a single registered Microsoft logo on the sign. I doubt it's false advertisement, though, since Circuit City is such a huge retailer, I just wonder where they got a ROM to emulate EVERY game in the library which Microsoft and it's third parties dont' even have...

That is so weak, I personally hardly ever buy from their. I'll look around and then go to best buy and get it cheaper 99.9% of the time.

lol.. i wish i had this problem... we dont even have either unless you drive at least an hour maybe even two... the closest ****ing mcdonalds is even an hour away lol... walmart is 20 minutes... i live in the middle of nowhere! hehe so quit complaining!

lol lots of people say that.. i'll get to a town with TONS of people *****in about being in a small town... My graduating class this year would have been 26 if another local high school hadnt consolidated with ours.. now its at about 32 kids

This is so gross. People shouldn't have to pay that much so that Circuit City can complete the complicated task of popping a disc, which ANYONE can get for FREE, into the console and press a button to confirm the installation of backward compatible titles.

Is that all that is? The biggest thing that made me think different was the fact that it insinuates that all xbox titles will be playable...
