Video of Microsoft Portable Gaming Device Leaked

Via a Microsoft blog site, a video of what appears to be a Microsoft tablet computer/portable gaming device surfaced on the Web this weekend. Called the Origami Project, the handheld device appears to be a mini lifestyle computer, as well as an apt gaming console.

The video shows off the tablet-like device's all-in-one capabilities and complete lifestyle integration, but also shows a quick clip of the device running original Xbox game Halo.

Few confirmed details are known at this point, but Microsoft has revealed that the leaked footage is, aside from being a year old, only the company's "initial exploration" of the handheld realm.

And what would a Microsoft rumor be without a perplexing viral marketing campaign? OrigamiProject.com is set to offer more site details on March 2, though Microsoft doesn't plan to make an official Origami announcement at that time.

I watched the video, it is not a games machine, although it can be used as one. If it has good office suite I will buy it as a laptot alternative for school.
