Free Online Play

I've watched a few videos and trailers for the Xbox360, and from what I've seen and heard, xbox360 owners will be enjoying free online play for ll games. Xbox live comes standard .

What do you guys think?

That's good, but I also heard that they'll have Silver and Gold packages of Live, where you need to pay.

Silver you can do everything you can now on live except play........It's an uber scam in my opinion, unless you find monotoring what your friends are doing and sending them messages fun.

The videos i have watched tell that full online capability is standard and free with the xbox360. Including play.

i think only basic downloads are free. you still have to pay for your gamertag and internet service. and they SAY all games have live but i think that means you just appear online like fable, becuase so far i havent heard of Morrowind Oblivion being playable online.

I have, and if you watch the videos on 360 at teamxbox.com, they make it very apparent that xbox live is standard and is free all around.

From what I remember I think it was Silver is free which allows you to communicate with friends, but if you want to play the actual games online then you have to get gold. And i think I remember something weird like with Silver you can play games, but only on the weekends or something weird like that. I don't really remember. I will have to watch the E3 press conference again when I get the chance, they explained it in there.

actually the free live on weekends will only happens some of the times (from what I've heard) making you want to buy a gold subscribtion of live so you spend more money.
