 The future of the 360
First there was the horrible Mtv show!! Then came E3,with microsoft not showing anything to spectacular,and sony pretty much ruling the show. Microsoft definately starting out on a bad note! Finally the day of launch, and as predicted 360's were short on demand! Launch titles,mostly being xbox ports,were lackluster! Then came the stories of failing xboxs,mabey a little over exaggerated since it was supposed to be"the first of the next Gen" , the 360 was more in the public eye! As for the japan launch we all knew what was going to happen. Was Microsoft's global launch really the way to go?
What is the future of Microsoft's console market? Bill Gates claiming to be in for the long run. People say "well microsoft has so much money,they can afford fortold loses." If microsoft has so much money,you would think they could come up with a better marketing strategy! And make a game console that would knock are socks off,world wide! Will sony stay at the top in this market,most likely! Will the 360 go out like the dreamcast,probably not! Then again the dreamcast was mostly a microsoft project!
So what do I think about all of this? Well I am a dedicated xbox fan,but the xbox is slowly comming to a stop. As for the 360 nothing really excites me right now. If things pick up mabey Ill buy one in a year,or mabey all turn into a playstation fan and buy a PS3. Mabey I will buy both consoles(sorry Nintendo) anyway I think Microsoft are idiots and they need to get their asses in gear!
Ahhhh..... I remember the days of sega and nintendo,fun times they were! Not a fanboy around just a shimmer of glee! playing Revenge of Shinobi and and mario bros. part three. Then came sony and ruined everything for me!!
