It's not surprising considering that Yahoo! integrated their messenger to work with Windows Live Messenger. That told me it was imminent.

Yeah, that whole thing confused me when I re-downloaded Windows Messenger. I hadn't heard the news and was seriously wondering why Yahoo was intertwined with M$.
