HD DVD Now Officially Dead?

Pretty big news recently with HD-DVD.

Looks like Warner Bros went Blu-ray exclusive:

And then HD-DVD completely canceled their press conference at CES!

That's crazy...If they aren't even really going to be at the biggest electronics show of the year...doesn't that pretty much mean they are giving up on the format?
