forums being to inactive..........

its seems that lately the forums have been to inactive. only like 5 ppl get on(from my opinion). ( me gib, triple h, spartan,cant think of any more that just how inactive it is). when the forums firt where seperated ( discussnation and xboxcore) it was more active. also when the 2 forums joined and became vgcore. now its like no one gets on. we need to do someting about this. not even the mods get on anymore besides spartan i think. we should make the most active ppl mods. like me for ex............ if we get enugh ppl to be active maybe so will the forums and we can draw more ppl.

I also really want the stupid news bot to ONLY POST GAME RELATED NEWS. The rest of it is mundane and interferes with easy navigation.

Well after deciphering that post, all I can tell you is that we've been through this over and over again and the only way that this forum will ever become more active is by having us members invite people. Making posts about what we all know won't do anything; the admins can't magically make more members appear. If becoming a mod is what your intent is, then you should just bring it up with an admin, but I don't think anymore mods are necessary considering that with "5" active members, 2 admins and a gaggle of inactive mods are enough.

P.S. I've just returned from a 10 day trip to Spain to explain my inactivity in that time period.

im not, but if you see the forum mods none of them get on anymore. some of them. and my and triple h always tell ppl about vgcore on xbox live. and welcome back

Yes, invites and real GAME talk would probably be good way to get new members. And, thanks Josh for stopping the all out post fest the news bot has been rampaging! LOL

The best thing to do is invite people and make new topics. If people make more topics, discussion increases. If you don't know what to make a topic about, see what other people are discussing on other related boards and then make a topic here about it (lol) to see what people here think about it.

Xbox LC is getting some pretty good traffic, so sometime soon I am going to put a link to VGCore on the site.
