Untold Legends 2: The Warrior\'s Code

So, the dungeon hack-n-slash fest is returning to PSP.* It was the best selling game during the US launch week, but many found themselves getting too bored too easily.* The generic progression through the game wasn't enough to hold our attention.* Will it's sequel manage to correct the wrongs of it's predecessor?* Here's what IGN know so far.
'Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) today announced Untold Legends: The Warrior's Code, sequel to Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade. Months after its release, Brotherhood of the Blade remains the prominent role-playing game on Sony's new PSP handheld. And now, SOE plans on updating the Untold Legends formula with new characters, items, features and multiplayer game modes.
"Given the success and broad appeal of the original game, The Warrior's Code will build upon this heritage as we strive to deliver games that appeal to both our core audience as well as new fans of the action-RPG genre," said Chris Sturr, Sr. brand manager for SOE. "To date, Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade is a run-away hit and third best-selling PSP system game ever." Players can choose between five shape-shifting characters as they progress through an all-new storyline. Players will explore over 45 new areas filled with traps, creatures and destructible structures. Plus, The Warrior's code will include new in-game cinematics, voiceovers and an upgraded quest journal. As far as multiplayer goes, The Warrior's Code features two new multiplayer modes, including co-op and player vs. player. In co-op, two players participate in a story-driven adventure which integrates into the main, single-player quest. And in players vs. player, it's all about combat. Up to four players can join in on dedicated battles. Both multiplayer modes include an online lobby, macro-chat communication and matchmaking system. Beyond this, The Warrior's Code will feature 12 boss battles, 40 monster classes and a new quest system. "The look and play of The Warrior's Code has been designed, upgraded and completely enhanced for its debut as a sequel, making this a must-have for action-RPG fans and new PSP(TM) system owners," said Rob Hill, producer of The Warrior's Code. "Players will be challenged by the intense combat and rapid hack-n-slash action." '
