Pagnell from our forum has managed to get his hands on Burnout Legends a week before release.* Here is his review:
"I have just got hold of this little beauty off a friend who works at a game shop - it isn't out until next Friday according to him. This is the best game I have played on the PSP so far. If you have played Burnout 3 on the PS2 or XBox then you will know what this game is like - it is almost identical in both graphics and gameplay. The layout of the game is slightly different but is no worse for it. The only thing I noticed that differs graphics wise is the lack of blur effect when you boost but that is minor. The speed the graphics run at when you boost on a high end car beggars belief - you really will not believe a small device like the PSP could do it.
The controls are responsive and the sound and music are top notch. As for a comparison with the likes of Ridge Racers, suffice to say the isn't one. Both games are arcade racers but Burnout Legends is so much more than just racing around a track. I really do suggest you buy it next week because I will be. Graphics 9/10Sound 8/10Gameplay 9/10Overall 9/10"
