The new Argos catalogue has a whole page devoted to the launch of the PSP in the UK including the console itself, accessories and games.* They display some key bits of*information in a small box at the top, but it's quite misleading.* Here are the features they suggest:
-Play DVDs, Take digital photos, Play games, Play music, Portable.
However, as we know, the PSP doesn't play DVDs.* It does play movies from a disc, but those with a huge DVD collection won't be able to play any of it on PSP.* UMD, the Universal Media Disc, is the format supported by PSP.* If you want to watch movies on PSP, you'll have to start up a new UMD collection.
Also, Argos claim that the PSP will be able to take digital photos.* This is also untrue - the PSP will let you view digital photos that you download from your computer or the internet.* There may be future support of a digital camera on PSP, but at the moment, nope.
