Namco\'s Portable Resort on PSP Namco\'s Portable Resort on PSP
Namco, having provided PSP gamers with a quite conventional game in Ridge Racer, are thinking outside of the box with their new "entertainment tool" named Portable Resort. The idea is that you are placed on a tropical island that you can roam around to your heart's content. The game will have a 24 hour time cycle, as seen in Grand Theft Auto titles, but time will pass at a real rate. Also, the game will be synchronised with our own day/night cycle, so when it's dark outside, it's dark at the Portable Resort.
Activities will also be dotted around this island - only one of which has been given as an example by Namco. Players can stumble across a ukelele, pick it up and start playing, using the analogue thumb pad to strum and the PSP shape buttons to make chords. Being a guitarist, this ought to be awesome. Hopefully this imagination will be echoed around the other features in this unique sounding game. http://www.PSPHome.com/index.php?do=viewarticle&id=248 |
