PSPkrazy has put together a simple but working FTP server for PSP. It can be used to send and retrieve files to your PSP wirelessly using WiFi. It is based on psppet's networking example ported to PSPSDK.
For this thing to work, wireless network must be configured properly in PSP's OS. Infrastructure mode only. IP adresses must be static. The first network on the list will be picked. There are some bugs and flaws, memory leaks and also files cannot be renamed.
It sounds like in essence, this let's you have a remote memory stick only limited in size by your server. Only got space for 1 movie on your stick? Then store 10 on an FTP server and download one when you want to watch it.
