Anyone waiting in line for a PS3?

Just wanted to see if anyone here plans on waiting in a line for at least a few hours to get a PS3. I heard about those crazy people in California that started a line 9 days before launch @_@ and there are some people around here (central FL) that are starting to line up already.

Personally, I would never wait more than a couple hours to buy something. I think it's a bit ridiculous that they have as few as they do, but I guess that is just the way it is. I would much rather just wait a month or two rather than wasting about a day or more waiting in a line.

Anyway, that's just my opinion. Anyone plan on trying to get one at launch by going early?

You might want to wait a little more than a month or two to get a PS3 anyway. Sony is notorious for having lots of problems for their first run systems. I'd wait until at least second run to give them a bit of time to work out the kinks the PS3 will most likely have.

As for waiting in line, it's doubtful, though I've thought about it. If we got one and resold it, it would pay for another one when they aren't so scarce and maybe even a game. But I don't want to freeze my butt off waiting in line forever either, so I don't know.

No. and Way. Even if I could afford it... The same reason as Elf stated. DO NOT BUY FIRST RUN SYSTEMS. It's a gamble I will not take with Sony. Microsoft or Nintendo, maybe, but definitely not Sony and their horrible customer service.
