The button on the controller to turn on the 360 is just for those too lazy to get up and move to their system to press a button.

i vote the playstation3 controller it sucks because its so big that once you put it on your chest its so big that you cant press the buttons while you play the games but i seen the xbox 360 controller its way better then the playstation 3 controller
