 NEW "Tony Hawk's American Sk8land" Pics/Info
Officially, the new DS Tony Hawk game is named "American Sk8land", since the DS (and the GBA version) version is not going to share many characteristics with the console 'American Wasteland'.
-The game is already running at a silky smooth 60 frame rates per second.
-IGN reports special features as using the mic for sound clips (when you do special moves or fall, etc.) to using the touch screens to pull off special moves easily (as your special meter fills up) to Create-a-Park features and custom graffti tag/deck art.
-Concerning the online, there will be standard two-player competitions (that will be availble in LAN mode as well) such as Trick Attack, Score Challenge, Combo Mambo, The Price is Wrong, and Horse, with more internet features to be announced.
-Also concering online, you will be able to upload 'ghosts' of yourself for others to download (and vice versa) to see how people obtained high scores.
-Also, of some notice, IGN changed the release date to November 2005.
