Default It's official! Rev controller to be confirmed at TGS!!!

I receive a news letter from G4. About g4tv.com the show. Here's a tidbit!!!

"For instance, check out last week's episode, "Monolith F.E.A.R.," where Monolith executive producer Chris Miller joined us in studio for a preview of FPS thriller F.E.A.R.. Tina, Laura and Geoff also spoke to Turbine Entertainment CEO Jeff Anderson about the state and future of MMOGs and the release of the Nintendo revolution controller at TGS. "

This so rocks! I'm officially stoked. This time next week we'll probably have seen the controller!

I have a strong feeling it's basically going to be the DS used as a controller, obviously taken from the idea of GBA/GCN connectivity and the use of a touch screen and perhaps a microphone and such.

Chances are...it may not even be a stand-alone controller and be able to play games without the Revolution.

I think they should just put buttons on the console and you just use that as a controller.

No.. supposedly the developers have seen it and are saying how Nintendo is finally waking up and such. It'll be good.

With the full motion 3D rotation in real-life, Nintendo and some 3rd party developers are also stoked about utilizing that kind of technology for the future of gaming. If the hardware lives up to the innovation, and if the Revolution holds true with it's on-line capabilities for playing all of Nintendo's previous products with a built-in emulator for their previous machines, then it really, may be, a revolutionary step for the past and future coming together...and holding hands. Ha!

Although it's not very ergonomic looking, the possibilites are near endless with this advance in controller design. A little refinement and this Nintendo product WILL be revolutionary.
