It took a few months, but Nintendo finally decided to give us some new official images of Mario Kart DS. Announced for a release this November, Mario Kart DS should offer us a series of interesting innovation. With fifteen exclusive circuits, Mario Kart DS will give the player the ability to engage in insane races with up to 8 players with only one copy of the game, and 4 with on-line mode. One also notes that the touch screen will not only be used to post race data / positions, but will also allow the players to control his/her Kart using the stylus.
