 Baten Kaitos 2
I doubt anyone here likes the series, but just thought I'd ask anyway. Anyone here plan on getting this game or have it already? I'm 22 hours in so far and it's pretty cool. They did a great job on the voice acting, I can actually play the game without turning the voices off, which is a big improvement from the last game.
The battle system is a little different this time around too, but still plays the same as the fist. The decks don't shuffle in mid battle anymore making you lose a turn, so that rocks. Plus, you can skip cards now if you don't want to play certain ones at that time. Combo attacks have been added as well (called relay attacks) and there's hidden special attack moves, which I have yet to achieve.
The music is good and characters are likeable, so far this is a pretty cool game. I loved the first one though and with the improvements they made to this one, I might even like it more than the first. ^_^ |
