No Wii price announcement or release date

However, both Battalion Wars II and Super Mario Strikers Charged were unveiled today for Wii. What do you guys think?

I think if they worked a bit on Batallion Wars II, particular the interface and the vehicle control, it could be an awesome game.

As for release date and price, they have an estimated 3 months until they would definitely have to have the thing on store shelves, so I can see why they're still being mum on the issue. They don't want to give the competition (as much as they want to play like their not) the heads up and give them ample time to adjust their own strategies accordingly.

With that said, friggin' Nintendo REALLY needs to tell me when I'm going to be playing Zelda and how much I'm going to paying to do it. Nao.

Indeed. It's great to hear about the new games, but it would be a lot nicer to hear a definitive price on the system. The only good thing is: we know it will be the cheapest. And arbuagly, will have the best overall gameplay via the motion sensing Wii-mote.

Zelda. Man, I'm so ready to play the game that I actually steer away from any news or info on the game just so I can be all that much more surprised when the moment to play really comes...I can't wait!

What I played of the original Batallion Wars (at Danzego's, of all places) I thought that the game had a LOT of potential. I'm definitely looking forward to a new one, hoping they do refine the control, as that was the biggest issue with the game, in vehicle or on foot.

Whoa....I'm pretty thick. I didn't even realize that Battalion Wars II is going to be for the Wii.

Well, I guess that means either way, they're going to do SOMETHING with the control. Should be interesting.

Oh, and on the topic of system release dates and whatnot, I guess good ol' Reggie (you know- the "kick ass and take names" Nintendo guy) is set to host some kind of Nintendo event in New York City on September 14th. I know that's the day after the two new US DS Lite colors (Corral Pink and Onyx Black) ship, but I somehow don't see Nintendo holding some event just for that. Pair that with the fact that at E3, he said something about September and revealing the specifics and particulars about the Wii launch, and it seems we may just have something solid comng here in a few short weeks.

That's sounds very reasonable. I likewise remember Reggie saying something about September...and sure didn't have to do with the DS. September, 14th you say? I'll be crossing my fingers with you!
