Wii Release Date?

I heard that Nintendo secretly released the release date of the Wii in an announcment they made a while ago. Did anyone end up finding out what it was and if so what was it? I am too lazy to look it up atm lol. And also how was it a secret? I heard it was based on the comma placement in the article.

Anyway, I'm thinking it is going to be early November.

Nope, nothing. There's a game conference in Leipzig, Germany from the 24th to the 27th and it's rumored that's when Nintendo is going to announce all that stuff. I don't know anything about commas in an ad or anything weird like that.

IIRC, Nintendo DID say something about more details around September or so, but then seeing as how Nintendo has said they won't be holding Spaceworld this year and they're not looking to be one of the attendees at TGS in late September, this will be their last chance to announce the Wii release date at a formal conference. But then, it's Nintendo, so it's not like they need a "formal conference" to do that. They can just snap their fingers and have the press running up to Redmond for their own announcement at HQ. So....who knows?

I have a feeling they'll announce the release date and price within the next two weeks. Believe it.

I think it'll be announced within a few days at least.
