I would just say that it won't be near as in depth as the Wii-mote promises to be... obviously. Though I truly believe that the motion sensor is a gimmick, (a gimmick to fill up the space that used to be the rumble feeback) it will defenitely have some showings in most, if not all, of the games. You know, just so it doesn't look as big of a bite of N's pie as we all KNOW it is...

I don't think that the gyro in the PS3 controller is going to be used in too many games. It's just like how the thumb strap for the DS was hailed as a joystick thing, but very few games used it, which is why it's not on the DS Lite.

I think the difference, though, between the DS thumb strap (which I thought all along was a horrid idea) and the PS3's motion sensor is the obvious thing - one is literally built in, whereas the other is an actual additional accessory that requires you to physically take out and use. The thumb strap didn't do much more than your finger or stylus could accomplish, and that's why it failed (not to mention how amazingly unintuitive it was.) If you figure that a game is in development for both the Wii and PS3, I don't see why the developer wouldn't take, say, the action of moving the nunchuck controller and mapping that to the PS3 controller. Watered-down, yes, but it still could serve some purpose.
