Default Super Princess Peach

When I first heard about the Princess Peach game I thought there was no way I was going to play it let alone like it. I mean, it's Peach, she's just a silly little wussy girl. Well, I was suprised. Minus the fact that it was pretty darn easy, it was actually quite fun. It's one of the few games that I've gone back to play through again to get all the bonus stuff. The fact that after you beat the game and can unlock hidden levels is the main reason for me replaying it though, more so than the mini games and puzzles.

So has anyone here played it and if so what did you think?

LOL. I honestly haven't even heard of it, but it sounds pretty interesting.

I've heard good things as well. I also wasn't interested because of the name (I don't like Peach too much) but it's been getting raved about strongly. I have it waiting in my Gamefly Q.

Yeah, it's pretty cool. You play as Peach and, for a change, you have to rescue Mario and Luigi along with a bunch of Toads. To do so you have to use Peach's emotions to get through the levels and defeat bosses. The emotions are triggered on the touch screen and each do different thing. Happy makes you fly and creates a tornado which can either blow away bad air, clouds, or just get you up to really high places. Sad makes her cry and run really fast making it possible to cross unsteady bridges and put out fires. Mad engulfs Peach in flames and makes her stomp around so she can push heavy switches and burn bridges. Lastly there the Calm emotion which uses your vibe gauge to replenish hearts. Every emotion uses a little of the vibe gauge to work and if it runs out you can fill it up by either sucking up enemies or getting vibe crystals.

So yeah, that's pretty much how the game works. It's pretty cool so if it sounds like something you might be into I'd say check it out. Who knew playing with a chicks emotions could be so fun eh?

Heh maybe since it's not possible to do outside of a video game

In all honesty, I haven't even looked towards this game just because it seems too easy and uninteresting. I'll ask my friend to er.. obtain a digital copy of the game.. and get more feedback from him. He's pretty used to my fickle gaming tastes.

Your wife plays games now? Well, that's good. Yeah, it's pretty easy but lots of fun, you'd probably like it too.

She was addicted to Wario Ware for a couple of months. And, I'm not allowed to play Kingdom Hearts II without her... there's hope yet!

If this is made i'm not surprised that they'd make a game called "Super Daisy"

Lolz!

They won't do that. Waluigi doesn't have his own game, so why would Daisy?

As for Super Princess Peach, it's not a bad game at all. It's not particularly difficult either, which kind of disappoints me (I love the classic "Nintendo difficulty curve" that we just don't see a lot of anymore and was hoping to see that here).

But I liked the game enough to go through and beat the game the second time (with all the extra levels for finishing it the first time). Now I just have to go back and complete the enemy glossary to grab the rest of the unlockables.
