Personally, I believe that the industry (mass media) needs to start recognizing the small things made by people like us too. They focus on giant "hyped" and "cool" looking games which end up sucking horribly.

Truthfully, they've (media, analysts) been saying this for years. Will it happen? Maybe. Will it be good? Only time will tell.

Very astute article. Not because the guy's topic wasn't already known or expected by some of us, but because it's obvious he based his arguments on facts to produce a seemingly accurate assumption.

I've been discussing this gaming collapse with friends for a couple of years now. It's imminent.

That was an extremely good article, and he's absolutely right. All this makes me think twice about dropping 500 dollars on a 360, or a ps3 even... I'm happy with my xbox come to think of it. But then, i suppose there are a 'few' games I look forward to playing on the 360, like halo 3 and Morrowind: Oblivion.

God dammit developers! Stop spewing out platformers and ****ty mediocre movie licenced games!
