Bogus US rating system

I think the amercians are too goddamn uptight with the ratings, they should have a 14A rating. This useto effect me cause the last time I went to rent RE 2 and it was rated R in US I got it cause I explained I was canadian and this is rated 14 A in the states but i just wanna know what the **** is wrong with the MPAA and ESRB also.

Well I agree with you,but RE2 did not need a R rating. One thing that ****up the hole rating system here was creating PG13(dam you spielburg,dam you to hell).Back in the day a PG movie was more extreme(language,nudity,violence) compare to most R movies today. So this guy named Steven spielburg came up with the PG13 rating because the MPAA would not give The temple of Doom a PG rating. So now you see more PG13 movies more then anything else,also they can sell them to a wider audience too. The bad thing about this hole PG13 rating is it tones down the hole system.PG movies get PG13,PG13 gets R,R becomes X witch you cant sell at all.So here comes the so-called uncut-directors cuts on dvd.

So what do I have to say about all of this**** off spielburg and **** the MPAA.
Now I'm off to watch my x rated verson of robocop. Oh one more thing,RE1 and RE2 are the worst piece of crap movies I have every seen!!

*note* In some rare cases if you got alot of money,noteirity,and A- list actors. The MPAA will overlook the content of a film. But alot of times if the MPAA wants to cut stuff out of films,and the director,or producer refuses, the films usely go strait to video. What a shame!!!

hey watch it about re movies they are awesome! I am a hardcore fan of the series. Where I live I can rent anything cause no one care so i emphise that this dont effect me. I am at this moment the voice of everyone who has been screwed by this system. In all honesty I think the ratings should be raped in the ass of everyone who says that viloent games/movies effect kids and these those tools that think it's a bad thing for kids to see a set of tits. In my oponion it DON'T effect kids and people like Hilary Clinton should **** off and leave the Vilonent games and movies to people who appreacheate it. I have watched vilonent movies since I was a kid but I am not ****ed up am I? It is not like the rating system works. Have these tools at the ESRB or theMPAA played Halo 2 on XBL or Saw 2 in canada? A lot of the audence is under 18/17!

Don't you mean Fanboy*? If you were really a fan of RE you would know that the movies sucked ass! Anyway,as for ESRB and MPAA I dislike them for saying what you can and cant put in movies,games,etc. As for who can watch this media(kids,adults). I think kids should not be able to watch or obtain certain material,but ratings and such will never stop them from doing so! When you say eveyone that has been screwed by the system. It sounds like you are saying that kids like youself are being screwed, because they say you are not old enough to watch this material? If you really care, what people think you should watch and do,then the promblem is not them!!! So after reading you post I think you dislike the ESRB and MPAA for the wrong reasons! But then again,you are a kid

Did you know that most movies made in america are released uncut in other countries but edited here! That is pretty lame! And the cuts that the MPAA took out of the american versions sometimes never get released here,even with the socalled uncut/director cuts! That why most of my dvds are not region 1(USA,CANADA)

I care so much cause I used to be in that position and I know how annoying that is for me. So I can EMPTHISE with the kids situation. oh and also I am not a kid. 16 is not a kid. A kid is like under 13 or if you havent gotten laid yet. If you are an 18 year old vergin then you are classified as an adult so I am not a kid and I just like the re stuff. I am not a fanboy. I am an X - Box Fanboy. and a halo 1 fanboy. I have not talked about re excessivily. If you read my other posts on H1 or X-Box vs. Sony you will realize that I am not a RE fanboy. I dont really preach about re other then the movies were awesome and I love Zombie Movies(Land of the dead, re exc...)

ok now lets talk about Land of the dead,which I did not like!~ They put in those shotty CG blood effects, which destroyed the movie for me! The shots were added in because the MPAA thought the original cuts were to realistic looking!That is ******* gay. But what I don't understand is why these cuts were not put back into the Director's cut!!??!!

I loved the innovation in the zombie logic. They got smartter (Guns) I agree that the MPAA cut some **** out but the Unrated directer's cut made up for it. I had to sneek into land of the dead cause I was 15 at the time. I was told I would have "Nightmares" after seeing it. I loved the acting and the kill scenes. But I agree that it wasent as realistic as i would have liked.
