Better game franchises

I voted for Mario as the Mario games simply have changed the way we game. It's a great general audience game that everyone can enjoy. Not to say that the others aren't good, just that I see Mario as having the most impact on the history of gaming.

I picked metal gear since it seems pretty real other than the vampires and such, the gameplay sure relates to life. oO

As my sig would suggest, i loved the KOTOR series, they better announce a sequel.

I was a brainless nub and voted for Halo. I've just gotten so much playing time out of the series, with glitching and all. Plus halo on XBL is like the best.

Zelda was the clincher for me, but Final Fantasy would've been a very close second. Definitely deserving to be on the list. That and Metroid and Castlevania. Basically anything that has lived past the NES.
