Default Google's approach on AIM - Google Talk

I don't know if this has been posted yet, but does anyone have Google's new messenger yet? It's really sweet. Check it out here...

Yeah same, I only had a few friends on it, so I deleted it.

It was pretty weird. I uninstalled it moments after installing it.

Mind you, though, I'm a 100% Google supporter. Hmm... I should make a sig bar for that!

To add onto your numerous sig bars! A few things I liked about Google Talk:

-Simple interface
-Ability to send messages to offline people for them to read later
-Status messages
-No timestamp feature, but if you don't respond to someone after a certain amount of time, it will say what time the message was sent to you
-Free VOIP phoning

Wow guys... you think that's a good messenger? You guys should seriously download MSN messenger, it's got everything AIM, Google talk, and Yahoo messenger have PLUS like 1 billion other cool features. It's all i've ever liked using. AIM is simply stuck 7 years in the past ><

It all depends on what your friends use. Everyone I know uses AIM so I'm not going to switch to MSN. Besides, MSN is riddled with ads everywhere. Yes I know you can get plugins, but it's still annoying. Googletalk has a lot of potential to become big, it just needs more features and whatnot.

A good compromise would be Trillian. It's basically a messenger with a bunch of different messengers built in as well as an IRC client. Just download the free version and get a crack for Pro.
