Look, guys, don't take this personally. I'm not dissing the Xbox as the worst piece of junk ever invented by human hands (heh, typing that felt good), but I'm saying it is far cry from the best.

Your favourite console goes to whatever you want. But the "BEST console" is a presumptuous statement, and believe me, just because you live in North America and play online does not equate to the same pattern existing overseas.

America is not the only country in the world.

America is not the only market in the world.

America is most-definitely not the best place on earth.

Heck, if a hurricane hit Mozambique, we'd see faster progress, where helping people and victims are concerned.

But that's aside the point. The fact of the matter is I've lived in Asia, the Middle East, and North America. And let me tell you that even in North America, PS2 is dominant. I don't even HAVE to clue you in on the fact that in Asia and the Middle East, Sony owns the console market, and Nintendy's not too far behind.

You guys are quite funny, though. I love coming to this forum. I get quite amused.

You're wrong about the keyboard thing. If I (or any PC gamer) had to choose between a mic or a keyboard, it would be a keyboard hands down. Xbox may be the best of the current gens hardware wise, but what games does it have that other platforms don't have other than Halo (which is by far the most over-rated game currently available)? The PS2 has far more (and better) games than the Xbox will ever have.

And about the Gamecube; I'll just say that it's not as unpopular as you think, just because you don't like it.

Your opinions hardly reflect on what the rest of the world believes.

My opinion: The "Best Console" is a matter of opinion and opinion only.

The only thing that XboX has over the competition is it's online performance and features. Xbox does seem to generate better graphics, but that isn't a major selling point. Sony has far and away the best games available in a multitude of genres. Nintendo has great franchise games and will soon have an even better market with the DS once the wi-fi system is up and running. The best console? I like them all.

I agree with my brother as we both own all three consoles; we like them all, yet each has their pros and cons. I say "best" from personal opinion. How I derived that opinion is based from what I play the most and supplies me with the most fun. That's the Xbox, currently. But when GCN gets games like RE4 and the new Fire Emblem, or PS2 gets God of War and Gran Turismo 4, it definitely shows the strong points of other systems.

They're all good, bottom line.
