In terms of online play, the Xbox is most definitely the best console out of all the current gen consoles.

As for single player titles, there are some big exlcusives the PS2 has due to game developers creating titles for a platform that's in more households (the Xbox hasn't gotten much love in Japan, unfortunately).

Who knows, it could be a turnaround in the next gen. Developers are saying that development costs are higher on PS3 than the 360, which could cause a dramatic shift to a new platform.

I play online games on the PS2 and I have to say that Xbox's online gameplay is much more refined and "fun".
