The original Hills Have Eyes II was the one where the dependable mutt had a flashback about Pluto. However, the new Hills Have Eyes II was just as boring, and more bloody.

Hills Have Eyes III was called The Outpost. Sometimes it goes by the name Mindripper. I own it, but it is not really a HHE film. It is set in in a secret lab in the desert, and this guy they experimented on becomes very hard to kill as he hunts and murders all the researchers.
