Re: The Hills Have Eyes Actually, I noticed that PG-13 movies can get away with showing blood, so long as it's not profuse. And they can get away with language, so long as it's not persistent. It's a stupid system, and to some extent I agree that censorship needs some re-tooling.
And yeah, I laughed a lot during the original Jeepers Creepers. Especially when the Creeper was doing acrobatics over the car...darn hilarious. But that's what made that movie good, they didn't try to frighten people with stupid stuff, they just followed through with characters in a scenario. It's rare we get movies (in any rating category) that takes horror elements and just plays them out. Cabin Fever tried, but the premise was just too darn stupid.
