Default Dell offers a terrabyte of drive space!

Check their website. They now offer a whole freaking terrabyte of drive space in the Dell Dimension XPS. You can actually add a 3rd (1tb = 500gbX2) 500gb hard drive. It's insane! Whoo needs 1.5 terrabytes of drive space in their computer? I mean HOLY ****!

Link for you

Whoa...Slow down there cowboy. Lets do a little math here:

If most games these days are taking up four and five normal disc, and nearly spilling out over the standard DVD, then a terrabtye, petabyte, etc., aren't all that fantastic when you think about how many games a terrabyte can actually hold.

The Sims 2, and anything made by Black Isle recently is nothing short of 2.5 gig.
Other action titles like Mafia or Rainbowsix 3 are also in the 1.5 through 3 gigabyte range, so having just those four games alone will fill up nothing small of ten or twelve gigabyte. Not including music, movies, workstation projects, etc.

I just got a 30 gig and it's already down to 15 in just two and a half months. With everything getting bigger by the fortnight, a terrabyte is going to look like a megabit by the end of next year...Okay, maybe not a megabit, but you get the picture.

Especially for those black-market gamers planning on burning XB360, PS3, and Revolution games. 40 gig of a double-sided Blue-ray disc won't look pretty on anything but a machine with a terrabyte or two.

Yeah, exactly. I've got a 110 gigabyte hard drive on my computer, and i have roughly 7 gigs of music, lots of videos, a few movies, roms as far as the eye can see.... i thought 110 gigs was more than enough... boy was i wrong

I'm actually looking into purchasing a nice 500 or so gig pretty soon... which will do me just fine.

And also, those who 'plan' on bootlegging Xbox360, ps3, and revolution games, will need to have some SERIOUS grapical power in their computer on TOP of that terrabyte.

Well, if they aren't planning on running them via emulation, they might just want to mod the system, download the games and burn them to disc.

Basically with that monthy payment, you can pick up parts for a top-of-the-line computer in 2 months.

H'm, does it make you breakfast? If it does, that isn't half bad.
