PC Media Center

I was looking to make a Media Center PC, and I needed a Media Center Software to have on the PC, I found this one program that looks and functions like the Windows Media Center would, Now I want to build a Media Center PC.

And it's FREE.

If you can buy a M$ Media Center remote for the PC, this program supports it, as well some others.

Maybe it's just me, but why don't you buy Windows XP Media Center edition? Your program may be free, but it's still in development and probably isn't fully compatible with some things.

I'm not a super star at PC stuff, but I do believe you have a valid point.

Right now, I don't have the money to afford the media center OS, So I was looking for a free alternative.
I used the program on my computer, and from what I seen so far, everything that the Media Center OS has, this has the same.
I want to build a Media Center PC, I don't know the compatibility that the MCE OS has with some stuff.
So I found this, everything that I have on my PC, this program supported it.

If it works for you, go for it. Just make sure you keep up with the latest updates and stuff.

Yeah, They are almost done with their next up date, it's in testing now.
They are putting live tv pause on it, along with some other stuff.
