New StarCraft = MMO?

Bleh, this sucks! I hope Blizzard does make a new SC RTS... I still play the original and I'm not a big fan of MMOs. Anyone here still play the old StarCraft?

Yeah i completely agree with you, I have heard word that blizzard has SC2 in the works, as well as Diablo 3, but you never know with rumors. Yes, I still play SC so if anyone want s to play sometime let me know and ill reinstall it.

They just announced it and it's not an MMO

They would never make it into an MMO. With the money they are making from World of Warcraft, it would be the most financially stupid thing they could possibly do. They would be creating competition for themselves.

I saw the previews to SC2 the day blizzard put it on their website. Gave me goosebumps. Can't wait =]

Yes, the new StarCraft is not a MMO. It's strategy again, and the graphics look pretty decent.

I honestly think that a Starcraft MMO would be an extreme hit. All the big MMORPG's out there are fantasy or medieval-based; a lot of users would flock to a futuristic one (as they did to EVE Online). I would definitely look forward to a SC MMO.
