Free game, a lot like WoW

It plays a lot like WoW and UO in that it's focussed heavily on skills, the PvP is pretty fun, and it's completely free. The game itself is modeled after Chinese mythology, and they're adding Arabian stuff later this year. It's been out in Korea for a while now, and the Korean subscribers pay enough so that it's completely free here as well :-P

Tell me about it. I've been on the job all week to write a critical essay on one of George Saunder's new stories for a journal, but I've been busy playing this game and watching Justice League (the DVDs just came in...).

Oh well, as long as I don't include a footnote saying "The author waited until the last minute to write this" it's all good.

I'm downloading Directx 9c so I can play with ya! I thought I had it.. guess not.

Uh-oh, the only thing I don't have to run this, is a VGA card. Stupid integrated graphics... I'm going to try it first, if not, I've been wanting to get a new video card, maybe I can sneak it past the wife!

My laptop that I use in my office can play this, and it's an Inspiron 300M (I think).

500 megs... cripes! I have to get a larger hard drive soon too, this 40 gig is filling up and I've been pretty picky about what I save. This better be worth that large of a file!

That's a picture my roommate took of his trade-camel on his laptop, which has inegrated 32MB graphics...so they're REALLY nice graphics, especially for a free game.

If you like WoW, UO or Chinese mythos you'll like the game. The first quest is boring because it's a tutorial, but past that it's on to killing baby tigers for their teeth and scarecrows!

LoL, literally. Don't feel too bad, I dropped down to 80! I doubt that it's my bandwidth though, it's probably the host.
