 Google Talk integrated into Gmail
If you have Gmail, you might have already noticed the "Chat" section. As of today, it's functional! You can see your contact list on the left side bar and who's online, who's offline, who's away, and whatnot. You can send them messages, email them, or chat with them in real time. It also logs conversations if you have it set that way and if you do, you can go "off the record" with one simple click! This is definitely a step in the right direction for Google. Hopefully, the VOIP call feature is integrated too because then, Gmail would have a clear advantage over every other email provider. |
