Nintendo yesterday has released their official sale numbers for both hardware and software for all Nintendo consoles, but here's just the Nintendo DS' official sale numbers.

DS Hardware: 1.72 million units
DS Software: 2.75 million units
Worldwide:
DS Hardware: 5.27 million units
DS Software: 10.49 million units
