 Dig Dug DS
Thanks to JeuxFrance, our favourite French gaming news site, I've dug up (excuse the pun) some news on a new game on the DS, Dig Dug.
My translation of the site's info is below:
"Namco revealed today the upcoming game Dig Dug: Digging Strike slated for release in Japan on September 8, 2005. This simple compilation of Dig Dug and Dig Dug II: Disorder in Paradise for the DS will offer both improvements to the graphics (well, duh) and the gameplay. The main character will go frolicking on whatever strange adventures diggers frolick upon on various islands and will have, thanks to the use of a large power pick, to make his enemies fall to their deaths by digging out various parts of the territory. Side quests, special items, and the ability to call upon certain characters, lead by the great hero Mr. Driller, will certainly come to spice up your adventure, not only as a gamer, but also as a prospective hole-digger."
