They're probably keeping quiet about the single player for Halo 3 for the same reason they kept quiet about it for Halo 2: it sucks. Well, maybe not sucks, per se, but It was incredibly disappointing considering the ambitious things they had going for it (i.e. Arbiter). I beat it in a few days and had no desire to keep playing (a far cry from the original, which I played for at least a year). I was especially annoyed with how sloppy Halo 2's multiplayer maps were compared to the original. Halo 3 can be great but this time, I'm not going to wait outside on launch night to find out. |
