Re: How's the weather? lol my grammar probably isn’t particularly good with forum posts probably because I don’t put any effort into making them grammatically correct...just forum posts after all plus I’m dyslexic..so with forum posts, when I just type down a message quickly I sometimes slip.
aaaaaanyways 99.9% of people in Wales speak English often as a first language....there are Welsh schools in which the "core" language is Welsh but English is taught always at some point as one wouldn’t get very far in this world without it.
Its a very long story about the Welsh language and the English language..and usually the reason alot of Welsh (and Scottish and Irish) have a firm dislike of the English. Thing is alot of Welsh Celtic and tribal history was almost destroyed by the Romans and over years of English occupation and oppression, the Welsh language diminished, although now is being revived.
simply put Wales is another country....but although now, its an a much more independent country to England...its still quite like...well almost like in the US, Wales is just like another State next to another State in one big country and although separate share alot of similarities
aaaaaaaaaaaanyways sorry about the long-ass lecture but its kinda alot of explain and dont worry I get it a surprising amount online
