The latest issue of EGM (which should be in the mailboxes of subscribers next week) features Halo 3 as it cover story, so here's hoping it packs a bit more info than this story does.

But I'll damned if that replica of the Spartan helmet that's included with the Legendary Edition of the game isn't the coolest thing I've ever seen.

Anyway, here's some things people have been able to gather from the article:

One new vehicle is the Mongoose (aka the ATV), which was originally supposed to debut in H2. It doesn't have any weapons, but it's purpose in the game is to provide the fastest method of getting from point A to point B.

One new weapon that you'll be able to dual-wield is the W.O.P of the Brutes, the Spiker. No one's sure how it functions quite yet, but I'm assuming it projects a spike or two. Could this possibly replace the needler?

Another new toy added to the arsenal of Spartans everywhere is the Spartan Laser, which is seriously packing some heat. One direct shot is capable of destroying a vehicle completely!

The nail grenade will be introduced in this installment as well. When thrown, the grenade will cling to any wall and fire nails within a certain radius (which isn't known at this time).
